When did you decide to go into medicine?
I’ve wanted to go into medicine ever since I was 5 years old. At the time, I wanted to be a brain surgeon after my great grandfather passed away from Alzheimer’s. In high school I joined the Health Care Academy where my teacher, Mrs. Brooder, had us do a project on different healthcare careers. I did my project on physician assistants and realized what I wanted to do in my life.
To me, treating people well means…
Treating people how you would like to be treated.
Favorite pastime:
Binge watching my favorite shows and playing with my rescue pup, Kylo.
One thing people are surprised to learn about me:
I have only eaten one chicken wing in my entire life, and no, I’m not a vegetarian.
