As we grow, we are looking to add a qualified, RN or LPN, full time, Assistant Nurse Manager to our team.
Ensures Patient satisfaction is at the forefront of all we do
Accomplish human resource objectives by assisting with orientation process, training of new registered nurse and licensed practical nursing hires.
Completes monthly schedules for RN, LPN, and Medical Assistant staff.
Completes patient care requirements by writing daily nursing staff assignments, following up on completion of tasks, providing re-education and coaching to staff, when needed.
Maintain skilled knowledge and oversight of phone system, as related to nursing staff education, assignments and productivity measures.
Accepts call offs for shifts from RN’s, LPN’s and Medical Assistants, adjusting staffing schedules to meet the needs of the business.
Meets nursing operational standards by contributing to reviews, implementing productivity, quality and patient service standards.
Manage with the assistance of Clinical Nurse Manager, all yearly continuing education for Nursing and Medical Assistant departments.
Manage with assistance of Clinical Nurse Manager, yearly PPD administration and documentation for all staff.
Manage with assistance of Clinical Nurse Manager, yearly Influenza vaccine administration and documentation for all staff.
Maintaining vaccine and injectable inventory, ordering of vaccines and injectable medications in order to maintain adequate supplies.
Maintaining monthly Vaccine Consumption Tracking, reporting to Compliance Officer and Clinical Nurse Manager.
Maintaining monthly Medication Sample Supply Inventory, reporting to Compliance Officer and Clinical Nurse Manager.
Assists Clinical Nurse Manager with oversight of Prior Authorization Department.
Protects patients and employees by interpreting and enforcing infection control policies and protocols.
Other Job Duties:
Contribute to and attend department meetings as scheduled
Attend committee meetings as assigned
Maintain policies as outlined in employee handbook
